American Lego Warriors
Gr. 3-4 or 5-8
Complete a series of Lego challenges each day working towards becoming an American Lego Warrior! Challenges will involve both teamwork and individual timed challenges (they do not involve robotics). Join us for some lessons in logic, fun and competition. Are you up for the challenge?

Minecraft...Roblox...Pixar...Sumdog...What do all of these have in common? They all “speak the same “language” and that language is spoken through coding. Learn the basics of coding and use your imagination to create an app, a short game or an animated short movie. Your creativity and imagination the key to cracking the code.

Do you like puzzles? Problem solving? Then BreakoutEDU will bring Escape Room experiences to you! Follow clues which are posted or hidden in the room and work together to beat the clock. You will think critically, solve problems, troubleshoot, use teamwork, and have so much fun you won’t even realize you’re using your brain! Come and unlock your inner Sherlock Holmes.

Come and learn about democracy, Darwinism, and world domination as we make social studies and logic exciting while playing the game of RISK. We’ll learn about political maps, alliances and occupation and what they mean Try your hand at this 61-year-old game and challenge your strategic thinking!

What’s Your Game Plan
Gr. 3-4 or 5-8
This class gives you the opportunity to think and use logic strategies on board games and outdoor games. Board games include: checkers, backgammon and scrabble. Outdoors we’ll play bocce ball, croquet, washers, Frisbee golf and Clue. The finale will be a day of learning how to juggle.

Create a civilization from the beginning of time and see if you can withstand the test of time. Using Sid Meier’s Civilization V, students will learn about balancing trade, military strength, knowledge and government required in managing a thriving society.
