Program Requirements

Pre-Occupational Therapy students, in addition to their major requirements, must take the following classes: 

  • BIOL 150: Investigating Biological Concepts
  • BIOL 204: Human Anatomy & Physiology
  • BIOL 325: Advanced Physiology
  • SOCI 101: Introduction to Sociology
  • MATH 106: Elementary Statistics or
  • PSYC 201: Research Methods 1: Design and Analysis
  • PSYC 101: Intro to Physiology or
  • PSCY 102: Principles of Psychology
  • PSYC 221: Lifespan Development
  • Two additional Psychology Electives

The following Psychology courses may be of special interest for occupational therapy students: 

  • PSYC 215: Learning and Motivation
  • PSYC 233: Social Psychology
  • PSYC 236: Abnormal Psychology
