Academic Support Services
No matter how academically well-prepared, focused and engaged, everyone struggles in a class once in a while.
No matter how superbly you are doing in an intense and fascinating course, you'll want to do even better and sometimes you'll need help finding the way to continue to improve and to set the bar even higher.
Monmouth’s energetic and ambitious students benefit from our extensive program of support. We offer a comprehensive array of academic services to guide and enhance your educational experience.
When you arrive at MC, your initial advisor will be the faculty instructor of your Introduction to the Liberal Arts course. Once you select a major, you'll pick an advisor from that department.
Global engagement means internationalizing learning in and outside of the classroom. With a coordinated approach, global engagement will allow us to be more intentional and more effective in our international education efforts.

The Monmouth College Writing Center peer tutors work with writers from any major, with any ability level, at any stage of their writing process, from planning to drafting to revising to editing. In order to develop better writers and not just better individual papers, the peer tutors work interactively with writers, helping them to develop and improve their overall writing skills.
