Filling out the FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be filed on an annual basis for each individual student in your household who plans to attend college.
The fastest and easiest way to accomplish this is to visit the FAFSA website and submit the FAFSA electronically. Both students and the parents of dependent students will be required to electronically sign the application with federally issued FSA User IDs and passwords. If you do not already have FSA User IDs and passwords, you may create one at the FAFSA website.
You should file the FAFSA as soon after October 1 as possible each year in order to maximize your consideration for funding. Please include Monmouth College's Title IV code: 001725 on the application.
The results of the FAFSA will help to confirm your eligibility for funding through federal and state programs including grant, loan and work programs.
The FAFSA results will also help to determine the amount of any additional Monmouth College need-based grants that you could receive.
