Since the founding of the first chapter, Beta Theta Pi, in 1865, students have chosen to become members of fraternities and sororities at Monmouth College.
Fraternities and sororities were founded upon the ideals of scholarship, citizenship, leadership, brotherhood/sisterhood, and service to others. Today we continue to cherish these values and strive to model ourselves after the examples given to us by our organization’s founders.
The Fraternity and Sorority Life awards process provides a means whereby the fraternities of Monmouth College may measure their activities and programs against the founding principles of fraternal organizations. It provides a means of ensuring that the actions of our organizations are congruent with the values articulated in their rituals and creeds.
Below is a list of recipients from the previous years. The awards are based off the prior calendar year for which the most recent chapter president served their term.
