Membership in a men's or women's fraternity has many benefits from scholastic support, to social activities, to career networking. The process of learning about these organizations and their members is called “recruitment,” although it is a very informal process.
Generally, each organization hosts several activities on or near campus. The members will also introduce themselves to students after class, in the cafeteria, and at other campus events. The purpose is to allow interested men get to know the various organizations, their principles, and their members, so that everyone can make an informed decision.
Our community is made up of 3 national women’s sororities, 4 national men’s fraternities, and 1 co-ed local fraternity:
- Alpha Tau Omega
- Alpha Xi Delta
- Kappa Kappa Gamma*
- Mu Lambda Rho*
- Phi Delta Theta
